Marijuana used to (I gave it up a long time ago). Um, the, um (trying to avoid this getting locked) culmination of sexual activity (ahem) can help too (unless you're one of the unlucky ones who ends up with headaches from that. Or, unless you're at work. Wouldn't advise that either).

I'm sorry to hear! I've been somewhat prone to headaches all my life, but never got a cranial smashing migraine type until a few years ago. Nothing I took got rid of them, I'd have to lock the bedroom door and turn the lights out for a whole day. Couldn't even drive.

Then read Christiane Northop's book on menopause, and found out that's one of the symptoms. Don't wanna take hormones, I'm a vegetarian and will not see horses exploited. So I cleaned up my diet and made sure I got a lot of cardio exercise and it's really controlled the headaches. I think it's a good remedy, no matter what your age.

But for immediate relief, excedrin migraine works just great!
