Poll question: Do you have political ambitions?
Edited on Thu Jun-17-04 06:07 PM by elperromagico
Do you want to hold elective office at some point in your life? Or have you held elective office?

2. I would consider it after a stint in the private sector,
but I suspect that my past drug use and excessive number of women in the past may not be so warmly received unless I become a celebrity first!

3. had to say 'no'
although the true answer is 'yes,' but they'd tear apart my party hardy youth (up to about age 40 ;-) ) no doubt and i'd have no chance of being elected, especially since i don't have daddy shrub to clean up after my transgressions....

4. No...
I'm unwilling to compromise, too radical, and bad at speaking publically.

8. Move to Ohio,
and run for Kucinich's seat when he retires. :)

Wait - Kucinich is a Catholic. Guess you're screwed, buddy.

10. From what I've read, that district is socially conservative...
being a proud pro-choice pro-gay marriage anti-flag burning prohibition athiest, I'd sink in a moment.

12. I've considered it. But, I'm a stranger in a strange land.
Not too many liberals get elected to anything in Nebraska.

Even our Democratic Senator is a borderline conservative.

14. Crazy. My teenage son wants me to do a four-year plan,...
,...towards being the president *LOL*!!! I LMAO when he suggested that.

My step-father was a political crony who ended up in prison (and he freakin' deserved it!). His politics hurt us all. Hence, I swore off political involvement,...until a few years ago.

I dunno. Once my son is somewhat on his own,...maybe, I will go for being on fire in the political world. Activism from outside that arena is hot for me at this time.
