I clean mine once every 10 years, whether it needs it or not.

Actually, this time I did one better-- i threw it out and bought a new one. It's self-cleaning, supposedly-- though the one time I tried to use that feature the thing started smokin. . .

3. Never forget how surprised my 6'5" nephew was to learn one can lift the

door off most of them to get in to clean easier. He almost fainted when I showed him, which was after he had just spent two hours crumpled on the gloor, reaching across the door to clean the oven.

8. Yep, most slide on and off the hinges. Just open door part way and pull

up. Most will slide right off the hinges. Makes it a bit kinder to one's back to reach around in there.

And it's why I was down on my hands and knees earlier this week, cleaning my toilet and bathroom floor. Since I want my security deposit back, I figure it might be a good idea to leave the apartment clean!
