Ricky here just licked my plate clean -- of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. That is just weird.

she asked the vet about it. He said they all have their favorite part of the prey. Didn't hurt Steve any -- he lived to be over 20. We used to say he ate the brain because he didn't have one and he did so to make up for his own deficit.

all the time about Tut's weight. But I don't feed them that much. He's a big, neutered orange tabby. And more muscular than fat. Her husband, the other Vet in the practice says don't worry about it. I chalk it up to her being a human fitness freak, herself. By the way, Pitch (the black one) has so far survived a total colectomy for the last three years.

38. Oreo Cookies
I had a cat once who had to have her Oreos. When we came in from grocery shopping she was right there in the kitchen looking for a new bag of Oreos. Just seeing the bag alone drove her into a frenzy.

We'd split a cookie, and she'd lick the cream off, then lick the cookie until there was nothing left.

Years ago I had a cat who loved orange juice. If I had a glass, I'd have to protect it or else I wouldn't get any. She also loved black olives. She'd lead me to the fridge so she could have her fix.

Cleo will eat bread, and loves to lick that blue ice rub stuff off our skin. Nicki will eat any kind of crackers, Triscuits, Wheat Thins, Ritz, you name it. She has ripped open boxes of saltines to get at them. Amber has no strange tastes we've found yet, unless you include backyard bugs, the crunchier the better.

A childhood cat was absolutely mad about black olives, pizza, and Vapo-Rub.

The other two are very scaredy, but Nicki has thrashed more than one intruder. Problem is, one of them was in love with her, he even brought dead mice into the yard. Unfortunately, she didn't feel the same way, and she was out on her leash one day, hiding in the raspberries, when he came strolling by. It wasn't pretty. She's a big strong cat, and not scared of nuttin'.

She and I have a "businesslike" relationship. She never sits on my lap, never purrs for me. She's Mrs. Ironflange's baby. The other two will lie in my lap and purr, but Amber, the youngster, likes to soften me up with the claws first. She's a very small cat, about 5 lbs., but she has feet and claws that should be attached to a Maine Coon or something.

68. Tomato sauce...
Shortly after I first got my boy Nero, I ordered pizza, and he went *nuts*. I figured he was after the pepperoni or the other meat, so I tried giving him a little piece. He sniffed it, licked a little bit, and then walked away. I put down pieces of vegetables. Same response. Finally, I put down a piece of crust, and he licked all the sauce off and walked away happy.

Oh, I should mention that due to my severe milk allergies, my pizza's always cheeseless, so it isn't cheese grease he's after, because there isn't any.

Once I made the mistake of leaving a pizza box with half a pizza left in it where he could get at it. He opened the box, picked all the toppings off the pizza, and licked almost *all* the sauce off... I was so mad, partially at him, partially at myself! He also always wants to lick my plate after I've finished eating pasta with red sauce, too.

Other than that, he doesn't seem to even really like most human food. He'll eat ham gelatin from canned ham, tuna or salmon juice, and my mom says he'll eat cheese, but I don't know anything about that, since I never have any in the house! :)

73. Not my cat, but he loved broccoli
and he weighed over 30 lbs. Picture a much, much larger version of Ricky, a shade or two lighter, eating broccoli.

75. Any kind of plastic that comes in a thin, sheetlike form
Bags, tampon wrappers, you name it.
He's not terribly bright.

76. Pixel likes to eat string
This scares me too. Once she got into the dental floss and almost swallowed it. I grabbed the end at the nick of time and pulled out a 3 foot slimy piece of floss.
Mmmm...minty! She also loves pulling strings from her scratcher and from the rugs. I find them later, if you get my drift.
