Watership Down- A great read

In which I consider probably one of the greatest works of fiction on the last century. I think I am one the 100 time I am reading it.

1. I read that for the first time last year....

I agree that it's a wonderful book... And right now... some parallels can be drawn in our current state of imperialism and brutality.

2. I read that to my schoolage class

six or seven times in three years. They clammored for it after the first chapter on the first day. They liked the book even more than the excellent animated version of it.

Truly one of the best books I've ever read.

I think it was called "Bunnies and Burrows".

9. On my Button Banner

I have a homemade button (Badg-A-Minit!) reading

Silflay HRAKA oo Embleer Hrair!

Someone asked me what it meant and I said "It's Serbo Coratian for 'Have A Nice day!"... she believed me! She asked me how to say it and I taught her carefully. She repeated it twice to make sure she had gotten it correctly.

8. While Coming Out Of A Store, I Saw

a car with the vanity license plate

I laughed and went back inside to find the owner. he said I was one of the few who got it! We had a good laugh over it.
