You ever have one of those days where you sleep so deep....
that you wake up and think it is the night of the next day?

Not in several years, but I've been there.

3. I had to take a trazidone (sp?) last night
because I was in one of my manic phases. I was going a week without serious REM sleep, so I had to do something about it. I remember taking the Traz last night and then I woke up at four AM. Strange thing was it was bright outside. Like noonish.

2. Not in awhile
have I slept that deep. But I have slept pretty deep a few nights this year. I remember once, when I was much younger, I actually snapped awake from a very deep sleep one morning, my feet hit the floor and I was up and dressed before my brain caught up to my body. Never felt so rested as I did that morning.

4. Yes.... quite a bit lately and frankly it is frightening....
I'm normally a day person, but i've been waking at 4 or 5 am, but so groggy I can't stay up, so I go back to sleep for an hour or two. But, then I sleep for 4 or 5 hours and am so near comatose when I wake up that I am not at all sure where I am.

I know this has to do with sleep patterns and probably a delay in REM sleep, but I sure don't know what to do about it....

Someone here posted about being up 32 straight hours (would love to know what they were on)... I'd be happy to have 16 straight with no sleepiness!

5. I slept through last Saturday in its entirety, and then
the next day couldn't figure out why a local diner (closed on Sunday mornings) wasn't open when I wanted my Saturday western omelet. Man, I was pissed. Then I walk into a local convenience store and see the Sunday Washington Times (the Post isn't a clue, since they sell the Sunday version on Saturdays) and thought I was on Candid Camera.

6. Deep sleep.....
I think I vaguely remember what that was like.

Sleeing disorders have made deep sleep elusive to me.
