DAMN, I cant wear my thong to work anymore
Mind you we have no formal dress code. I quess a beautiful coworker ruffled some mangement feathers. But they are all up in arms now.

Should I show off my tighty whities?

2. we work in the field alot
and being 105 degrees we are dressing for comfort. Also, I work a lot in the projects so I am not wearing any of my nice clothes. I see management view but are there not more importnat hings to worry about.

10. whoooaaaaa!!! i think i'd have to walk into the office with a thong
on my HEAD.

of course, when my mother told me not to play in traffic i'd run out into the street and yell "what's that? don't play in traffic? i do what i WANT, woman!"

she was all smart with that "reverse psychology" shit.

7. Oh yeah...you have attractive co-workers.
What's that like?

I can count the number of attractive women in this building on one hand. :nopity:

12. GOPisEvil thinks they look weird
It's in my other thread. I'm not sure, but they are a bit funky (hubby calls them my "Rocketman" shoes- i.e. Elton John). :D I just love sandals though. I have more of those than any other shoe.

13. Yep...I like the white...just not the thick sole.
Not my preference, but then, I don't have to wear them. ;-)

15. as long as you don't show your underwear they won't know
If your coworker was letting her underwear show, that IS unprofessional. I don't care how trendy it is, your underwear is not supposed to show, the only exceptions being certain rock concerts and sleazy bars.

16. Exactly...
I used to work at Kids R Us (the clothing store). This was more than 10 years ago. Most of the dress code was standard (nothing low-cut, no jeans, no t-shirts, closed-toe shoes), but it included "proper undergarments must be worn at all times." I asked my boss how anyone would know -- she basically told me that meant if you're wearing a white shirt or a loosely-knit sweater, cover up underneath, that sort of thing.

"Proper undergarments" takes on a whole new meaning now -- it means don't show it.
