2. I'd love to see a Mickelson winning streak.
Now that he's over the big psychological hurdle of winning a major.

3. My wife LOVES Mickelson.
"So why don't you marry him, then?" is my usual 2nd grader reply.

4. PHIL! PHIL! PHIL!
He looks like a machine...will be very hard to beat now that he is over the "no major" hump.

5. Tiger still struggling
Just can't keep it in the fairway off the tee.

Shigeki is impressing me too. I've always liked him - always smiling on the course. Guys making that much money should always be smiling like that!

6. Is he still hitting that damned driver?
Tiger, seriously, either switch to another driver or hit a 2-Iron off the tee. You can play with these guys even when you are scrambling.........so stop scrambling and win.

That would be my advice.

7. He's been using a variety
Depending on the hole. I've seen him hit the irons in the rough off the tee, too, though.

He always seems to hit the 3-wood well.

He's still three over with seven holes to play. No birdies today, either, just a bogey & ten pars.

12. 2 doubles, a triple, and a birdie on his first 9
the back nine actually..........yikes. Tough time/course to make a comeback. Tied for last with Joey Maxon.

13. Yeah, but at least he had no expectations.
It's nice to see him playing again. I hope he gets back to the way he was. You know, he was ranked #1 in the world before Tiger. I used the Nike Tour Accuracy DD ball for a while. I got them cheap when he started to suck. A good ball, actually. :D

16. Kicking - with an update
Shigeki is leading at -7, with reasonably makeable birdie putt coming up.

Tiger just made a birdie, and is back to +2. The cut line is back to +4.

Poor David Duval is in dead last place.

18. Unfortunately...
...it's a difficult course to make a big birdie run. Especially, since the winds are projected to go wild tomorrow on Long Island.

GO PHIL - GO SHIGEKI!

Actually, go Maggert!!!!

They showed Tiger teeing off at the start of the Open.

Under his name it said "Has not won in 7 straight majors"

(Sigh) what will he DO? Oh the tragedy! :eyes:
