The Truth Doesn't Go Away!

You can cover your ears and close your eyes
But the truth doesn’t go away!
You can burn books and take more lives
But the truth doesn’t go away!
You can laugh and you can taunt and even make us cry
But the truth doesn’t go away!
You can hide behind the flag and wave hateful signs
But the truth doesn’t go away!
It only grows louder day after day
The truth doesn’t go away!
