I have a serious HOMO problem.
I can't find me any!

Maybe next weekend at Capitalist Pride, but it's been 7 years of nothing so far. :-)

4. "Capitalist Pride"?
That gives me a bizarre image of a throng of drag queens, buff, oiled muscle-boys, and fetishists in biker leather waving rainbow flags pouring out of the New York Stock Exchange and flooding Wall Street...

8. Oh. I meant "Gay Pride" celebration, but that's all gone corporate.
Far more booths inciting the exchange of money than the exchange of information and awareness.

But that's just my two cents, to be given to Target at their booth. :-)

15. just know those booths have meant a self-employment
boon to millions - all over the country.

before such cottage industries, it was starve, or hide and lie.

now it is getting to be like that again. many of us feel it's essential to support our tiny economies.

"...money where our politics are" n all.

peace!

11. Well, Atlanta's almost as good...
largest gay community in the US outside of SF, and a pretty active nightlife scene...(of course, if you're not into the whole club thing, that might not help).

13. used to be a radical community in minneapolis, back when...
maybe still, just haven't been there in so long.
some resources, though:

do you sing, or like to sing?

when you go to Atlanta, are you staying at a hotel? maybe find one through Gayellow Pages.

still, P-town is amazing, and best in autumn.

peace!

12. "Capitalist Pride"..depends on where you are at.
In smaller citys or more consevative parts of the USA, Gay Pride events are still pretty much on the edge...its still a big statement to go to one of these, not just some execuse to market stuff.
