Poll question: What web browser is your favorite?
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 08:12 PM by cheezus
I ask because I've just discovered the joy of Camino on OS X; it's the best of firefox and safari combined.

I chose Firefox (for Linux at home and Mac OS X at work), but Konq has a special place for me. One, it can masquerade as ANYTHING (an ability that it passed on to Safari what with Apple choosing the KHTML rendering engine); and two, it remains the BEST file manager on any operating system (once you know how to split panes, you wonder how you lived without it-- kinda like tabbed browsing).

As for you IE people-- Jesus, throw the devil off your back and see what you've been missing!

if that makes sense.

5. I am SOOOO glad IE has thus far only 26% of the vote
Of course some people aren't browsing, they are "on the internet"...

(Less here than at freeperville, of course...)

8. In order:
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 09:01 PM by Spider Jerusalem
Netscape (1.0-4.7) (1995-1999)

Opera (5.0-6.0) 1999-2002

Mozilla (0.3-1.6) 2002-present

Happy to say that I've never really used IE as my primary web browser. And I'm thinking I'll install Red Hat 9 soon (I already dual-boot XP and BeOS), with the aim of getting away from Windows except in applications where it's required....

10. Most of the traffic
Most of the traffic to my web page comes from DU.

According to my tracking stats, most DU members use Internet Explorer 6.
