Hi all,

You can see the details here, but in short, the last couple of weeks have been a roller coaster.

My father died two sundays ago, and last Sunday, my daughter was born. I guess those are as big as the extremes get.

Long time Democrat Sanford Clark Sr. was laid to rest with military honors. I wish I could have been there to rub that in the face of my right-wing chicken-hawk uncles.

Future Dem, Emma Maxwell Clark was born Sunday at 1:00am after 17 hours of labor, two hours of pushing, and a C-section. Both mom and baby are in great shape as they struggle with breast feeding.

My uncle (last of his generation of my father's family) died two weeks ago tomorrow as well.

His burial service in Chicago is next Saturday.

We kept it under her bassenette on teh cart in the hospital. you could see it from anyplace and know that was Emma.
