7. thank God!
Most people are know that are around my age listen to imho shit! you start putting on those "Lite Rock" stations and i think you are officially done. Now don't get me wrong, i like lots of different music but i still have my original Sugar Hill Gang 72 and then the wanna be knock off Kurtis Blow. My sister is 40 and i swear to God she's like a 60 year old and i look at her and think...how the fuck did that happen.

12. Listening To
lite rock, lite jazz, celine dion types and country does seem to age a person.

2. I'll be 35 next month and I did the dishes and made dinner to
Ice-T's "Power" tonight.

Great album.

So no, it's not abnormal.

3. Look at it this way...

....You're maybe a year or two younger than the Beastie Boys, and maybe 5 years younger than Snoop Doggy Dogg. You too could be a rap artist!

4. I'm 32 and I love Public Enemy.
Early 90s hip-hop is fresh, worthy, and formidable stuff.

Vanilla Ice still sucks though. :-)

5. I would say it depends...
if you are listening to some crap like say 50 cent, it may be abnormal and humorous to others.

But say you listen to something good like Mos Def, Kweli, or public enemy, nothing wrong at all. :)

8. That's good that you enjoy it. As for myself, I prefer tunes...
that are not always in 4/4 time and have a melody and more complicated chord stuctures.

9. I'm 38 and I still dig it.
Admittedly, though, most of the rap I listen to now is from 10-25 years ago....

11. I'm 50 and I listen to it...
...but I like the Dead better.

As a happy medium, I listen to the more eclectic electronic stuff. I'm old, so I don't know or care what the genre is called exactly...Acid something...a cross between Skinny Puppy and Hip Hop.
