Could you be a father and not know it?
Or do you have a story about when you were surprised to find out that you were a father?

I traveled widely during my extended youth and had a number of one night stands. I feel pretty fortunate that no one has appeared at my doorstep exclaiming, "HI DAD!"

Anybody else?

3. She's eight now
And I'm still pretty shocked. It's, like, the only time I wasn't wearing a rubber.

Her: "Oh. Those pills. I stopped taking them because they made my tummy upset."

4. You know what's crazy?
My sowing occurred in the seventies. Nobody used rubbers or bothered to ask if there was any protection.

The worst thing that ever happened to me was the clap and crabs, once each.

Ahhh, the good old days. You really COULD be my father. "Yep, I remember when we didn't wear any of those things on our pieces. No AIDS then, by God, it was a rocking time. If it was wet and warm, we stuck it in..."

6. Not me, of course, but grandpa........welll......
It was only mentioned maybe once or twice.....Grandpa never said no and he was always asked......and another daughter....? And perhaps some events down south from his days as a peddler?

I'll say this: the guys in the family never tell the girls in the family. Which sucks.

9. I don't think so, but
I did have a close call a few years back. I had lost track of an old girlfriend. We drifted apart for various reasons but did email every once in awhile. One of the last time I talked to her she told me that she had miscarried awhile ago. And that she had been with no other man since the night we spent together. So I had a pretty good idea that I got her pregnant.

they were doing paternity tests. One of the guys said, "I didn't come here to yell, scream, or fight. If the child is mine, I will be his father in every sense of the word." Apparently, his only problem was that the mother slept around so MUCH. Well, the test proved the child to be his, and after pausing for just a few seconds, he requested to meet his son!

16. The idea scares the hell out of me
But its unlikely. I've been pretty careful and selective about who I'm with.
