Sorry folks. I'm a child of the 80s and My Lips Are Sealed!

Pay no mind to what they say! Doesn't matter anyway!

7. There are many Go-Go's fans here
They were my first concert, back in '81. I was 12. The Fleshtones (Roman Gods era) opened. Totally amazing.

13. Saw them with David Bowie
at Anaheim stadium. Madness was the first act - missed them due to traffic. 1983 or so.

I've read they actually started out as a really loud, really terrible punk band, and hung out a lot with the likes of The Germs. Amazing what they turned into.

10. Well, then,

Go to Ruby Tuesday's. The one by me plays FORGOTTEN hits of the 80s. Just tonight, I heard "Major Tom," "Rock me, Amadeus," Duran Duran, Paul Young, you name it. It was like a time capsule!

11. My local pub (which is dangerously within walking distance) plays 80's
songs constantly!

That's why I love it....that and the beer!

14. I remember that song was "new wave"...
...and I remember thinking that had something to do with that you couldn't really hear what words they were singing.
