I can tell you that life gets really interesting after 50. As for the world situation, hang onto your hat. I figure the Iraq mess will help bring down Bush, but I feel sorry for the people over there who are in the midst of it all.

I'm at the 'if I knew what I do now then' stage but the good thing is I've finally learned to pick my fights! As much as I hate bunnypants my birthday wish for Iraq is a transition that brings peace, prosperity and freedom to the Iraqi people. Won't get it but I can dream.

and happy birthday!!! I turned 50 last December. It is wonderful. We are also retired and our youngest is going off to the university in August so we are getting ready for the rest of our lives. 50, so far, is really good.
