Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Ms. Grumpy went into the hospital on Thursday for gallbladder removal and various other surgical mucking about. I talked to her today, and she wanted me to express how crappy she felt about missing the Michigan DU fest this past weekend!
She feels OK (thank you sister morphine) and should be back home some time later this week. She has had health problems on and off for a long time now, let's hope that this round takes care of whatever has been causing her grief!

I had a cholecystectomy years ago and have never regretted it...those darn stones hurt! I was pumped up on Dilaudid, and hit the Percocet at every turn for a week. It was well worth the effort though; and if she had it done lapriscopically, she'll be up and about in no time!

Gall Bladder removal is no picnic, it is deep surgery, my Dad (who I took out for dinner last night for Father's Day) underwent it in 1980 but is still going strong! I'm hoping you get better real soon!
