I rode a funicular yesterday!
My lovely boyfriend, the ever-handsome Squeegee, took me out to dinner for our 2nd anniversary.

A really nice local restaurant has a funicular to get customers down the hill. We had a great meal. I had scallops in an almond-crust with a vanilla beurre-blanc sauce and mashed potatoes, along with a bottle of Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse.

But I love to say funicular.

Reminds me of a piece we played in band.

7. Ah, Altoona...
Pennsylvania has the best place-names.

Mom's from Shamokin and Dad used to live in Beaver Gap. Then, of course, there's Intercourse.
