the uselessness of Larry King's one hour
If he isn't interviewing some 'royalty' that has nothing to do with real news and info that means spit to anyone on the planet (I think it's his name 'king' that makes him feel relationy - my bet is because he doesn't have much of a chin - as the royals have been bred for over the years so you just can't hang them so easily) he's dragging up OJ and Ramsey and yada yada on the PEterson case.

what a dorkusDistractus.

3. He does have his moments....
when he has people on like bill maher...
he's tickled and giggly and entertained.

It's that 98% inbetween no product between the good interviews that astound me. filler, filler.

4. He makes my skin crawl
Quite apart from his uselessness as an 'interviewer.' I wonder if he's as disgusting an egomaniacal and smarmy pig in person as he is on TV, not that I can even stand to see more than a few seconds of him at a time.

5. I was just discussing with a co-worker when Bill Maher was on
the other night. They were in the middle of an important and intersting conversation (well, Bill was and Larry was listening) and out of the clear blue sky Larry says (I swear to GOD this happened):"So what do you think of the Scott Peterson trial." Bill says:"What?!?!?!?!?!?!" and then proceded to blast Larry about how unimportant that is compared to what's happening in the world (in so many workd). I f'ing loved it and love Bill Maher!

6. Larry King is good for two things
1. Distraction news (OJ, Jon-Benet, Chandra Levy, Lacy Paterson).

2. Salutes to old, dead show biz people.

7. He's a shadow of his former self.
He should've stayed on radio. His radio show was the best, although he went off the deep end when Kitty Kelly besmirched Frank Sinatra in one of her books. His show kept me company for many a night shift. Great topics, interviews, callers, everything.

10. His radio show in the early 90s was the bomb...........
I learned so much. His show was stimulating and interesting and food for the mind and I just hate what Larry King has become.

Although, I still love the Sylvia Brown shows - she's very comforting.

11. The fact that he is using up our precious oxygen for his
smoke-addled lungs is a continuing source of shame for our entire species.
