I think he misses his pillow on the sofa at home. Cats don't do well out of their home environment.

cars and end up 200 miles away from home!

I had a ginger like that once and spent a fortune on train fares as phone calls from all around the country all said "have you got a cat called Mincer? your name and phone number are on the collar of this cat we found sleeping in the back of the truck...."
