Poll question: David Sedaris or Sarah Vowell?
I'm sure plenty of you read and enjoy both - however, here you must choose one.

2. Sarah Vowell did this segment on The Battle Hymn of the Republic on TAL...
...that totallly blew me away. BTW, TAL means "This American Life", a show on public radio. And BTW means "by the way".

Anyway, Sarah Vowell narrated this history of the Battle Hymn of the Republic, that managed to capture a bit of abolitionist John Brown's biography. With her wit and her amazing voice, it was an amazing segment.

Some times, when I am down, I start singing "John Brown's Body" to myself. It's an Ohio thing.
