9. I loved that song ....
Also loved Arthur Lee and Love: I was in a band when I was a younger man: and we ended our show with a cover of 'Seven and Seven is .." .... it was a shred fest ... with a great ascending coda ... loved it ...

Arthur Brown (AND Love) was ahead of his time ...

11. One of the all-time great Psycho-Delic hits!
Emphasis on the psycho.

Now, for a little Seeds, Chocolate Watchband, Sonics, 13 Floor Elevators, Humans, Love, Creation, Electric Prunes, et al. Ah, if I could only travel back to 1966!

16. West Coast, I think.
At least, apparently, Sky Saxon still lives out there and hangs around.

14. His flaming crown
Actually saw this crazy guy in concert on New Year's Eve back in the 60s (we were really there to see the quite good warm-up act: The New York Rock 'n Roll Ensemble). As Arthur launched into his one hit, he literally set his head on fire. (George Tenet in another life perhaps).
