1. For $9.99 per month you can sign up to O'Reilly's Safari...

It is a programming, computing and tech library with most books from O'Reilly. When I was a member, I could use up to 5 slots per month. Usually, each book uses one slot, although there are some of 1/2 and some of 2 slots. You can have the books for a month, and then change them (or leave them there).

It is much cheaper than buying the book, and you can access them anytime, online.

10. if you have high speed line, you can sign up for monthly to her
movies. You can view a lot in a month, if you concentrate on it. I did it for a month and went to the local college and used their system

6. Dreamweaver MX or MX 2004?
Dreamweaver MX is slow at times but is otherwise rather useful. (don't use it to create a frames page, it'll create it incorrectly...) I gather MX 2004 is far slower and buggy as well. I've read far more bad reviews from users than good ones (amazon.com, cnet, zdnet, et al... all user reviews, from people who used it. And when many people say the same bad thing as everybody else, watch out... it might be true. (and never believe the 5-star  reviews that give blind praise unless there's thought behind the praise. :D )

I found the Macromedia Studio MX Bible to be reasonably useful, though he Access 2000 Bible reminded me these books are somewhat mediocre overall. :-(

8. MX 2004 is buggy, but an update is out now...
a friend says it is much more stable.

I prefer MX 2004 over MX... especially for cascading stylesheets!

12. MX 2k4 encouraged me to learn CSS
I'm still playing with it a bit, but I'll never use tables for page layout again.

13. I think tables are ok for a lot of stuff...
but if you want real flexibility, CSS is the way to go... it allows you to do SO many things...!
