1. I voted
Franz Ferdinand, as I like the one single I've heard by them, and their album sounded alright as background music when my friend played it the other day.

Jet I don't really care for and I love the late-sixties/early-seventies "classic" rock they are so derivative of. They just grate on me for some reason; it's like they're too generic or something. I do give them some props for at least adding some variety to the sounds getting played on most modern rock stations today, though.

2. Franz - this isn't a fair contest, by my judgement
i've only heard that one Jet single they always play on the radio and it sounds egggggZACKLY like "lust for life" if you pay attention to the percussion. besides, Franz at least make an honest attempt at originality.
