any advice, fellows? how am i supposed to, er, monitor and help put a stop to internet piracy if i can't even connect to soulseek or e-mule or anything? i'm connected through a wireless area network and i've heard that one can use a proxy IP if need be and possess the appropriate programs but i've heard that that can land a body in some trouble and trouble i should like to avoid. that is why i always, always observe AND respect copyright laws which exist, after all, for only the artists' benefit

1. dont really understand your question

you can use a proxy easily. update your internet settings under tools if youre using explorer to a accessible proxy server IP. There are lists of available servers online, but youll have to search for a server to use.

during "shock and awe" several of us DUers were using transparent proxies through the netherlands to watch al jazeera (which US IPs had been DoS'ed into submission). but you can use them if given permission - I guess the question to ask is why you need one.

what is it that youre trying to do? obviously youre online...
