What speeds the healing of acid-burned throat tissue?
I have laryngopharyngeal reflux and have acid-burned and swollen tissue. I'm on Prilosec (& special diet) to stop the acid. Any natural remedies for healing?

3. You can soothe the symptoms with tea and honey
But only time will heal the tissue, there is no "quick fix".

Honey might actually produce more acid though.

4. This might seem silly.
Google search slippery elm tea.It has the approval of the food and drug administration as a nonprescription demulcent ( soothing agent). It has no side effects.

5. Aloe vera juice.....
if you can find it in a health food store also echinacea (purple cone flower) to boost immune system. For the swelling I would recomend an iced herbal tea, the cold will help reduce swelling.Read labels or www.celestialseasonings.com to see what is the most beneficial.

6. Was it from molecular acid?
Like in "Aliens"? If that's the case, you've got big problems.

I'll be careful not to spit on any metal floor grates.
