When do you get that "OH CRAP!" feeling?
I get it when I know I've somehow gone over the line in a conversation, and said something stupid. I get it other times as well.

For those who never get it, it feels like this:

All of a sudden

sweaty, shaky hands.
The temperature in the room has gone up dramatically and you find yourself gasping for air.
Your eyes involuntarily begin darting around and then staring at the nearest exit.

Have you had an "OH CRAP!" moment?

3. Every day. Several dozen times.
It's the feeling of impending doom.

I've had it all my life.

It's made me the sweet, charming, lovable person I am today :)

13. That's Called An "OhNoSecond"!
An OhNoSecond is the division of time between the error and the realization of same. Otherwise described as the length of time it takes for a plate to hit the tile floor or the toast to land, buttered side down, on the new Persian carpet.

12. Whew! Been there
try to look at it as an opportunity. Keep us informed (afterwards, if chosen for a trial) as to the process. I think it's fascinating.

Good luck!

I screwed up on something, and I knew I had to correct, or I'd be busted. At the same time, I had shut off the internet window, so I had to sign back onto the internet. I corrected and was okay.

PS some symptoms of OH CRAP feeling you forgot: Your brain starts burning, but your skull is numb. you get heartburn. your stomach growls a little bit.

15. When I get a tough question in a Q&A
When I give speeches, invariably the floor gets opened, and I have to answer questions for as long as two hours. It takesa lot out of you, and every time, there is some excellent lefty or righty to throw a really sharp cut fastball...and I have to swing at the damned thing.
