How many ferrets are too many?
A friend has ended up with 6 of them through one incident or another. Anyone have experience with multiple ferrets? Will it be massive chaos, or will serenity prevail?

2. A friend of mine has 3
and it's no biggie. I'm directly responsible for at least 50 ferret owners in 2 states because I'm such a trendsetter. :P I've never had more than one at a time, but two is ideal.

3. It will be chaos, but it's going to be FUN
Ferrets are great animals, but they try to get into everything, and they're stubborn enough to keep attempting to get someplace until they succeed. If they're going to be free-roaming ferrets or allowed to roam the house at certain times, your friend will need to go and get some of those plastic tabs that you put on the inside of your cabinet doors to keep toddlers from opening them or put rubber bands around their knobs to keep them from opening them (they'll still try). Go to Home Depot and pic up some cheap pvc pipe (or Petsmart to get actual ferret tunnels) for them to run through as well.

5. I have 3 -
6 would be too much for me, pretty much because the yearly shots would be more than I'd want to afford. And - that's 12 ears to clean, 120 nails to clip, lots and lots and lots of poops to scoop - ai!

If I didn't have to report to a job every day and was independently wealthy - maybe.

6. Six ferrets doesn't sound like serenity.
