I used to know the guy that played "Karl the Giant" in "Big Fish"!
He was a bouncer at a bar I used to frequent before I realized it sucked. Knew me by name and everything. Hell of a nice guy. Yes, your entire hand would really fit inside his, and yes, that's his real voice.

Just wanted to share, as I watched the film today, and didn't know he was in it. (Well, that's not totally true. My wife told me he was in it, since she watched it a few days ago. I didn't know before then. (God, I'm tired and babbling. As if my undiagnosed ADD wasn't bad enough.)

2. He was also a semi-regular on Howard Stern
He was known as "Bigfoot"...I also believe he may have a law degree, too. He always seemed like the gentle giant type.
