11 pm and it's as bright as noon!
Dang, this Alaskan summer is way cool! It's really throwing my system off -- it seems like late afternoon or early evening, not nearly midnight.

My sister is complaining about the heat. Believe me, 80° in Alaska is very very pleasant after 105° in Phoenix.

Tomorrow we are heading for the zoo to see the yaks. I'll give one a big smooch for my friend ZombyWoof!

I remember being in Fairbanks in late June once, and sleep was impossible.

But what a great place to be! I loved it there. Have fun with the yaks!

2. I felt like that when I lived in Alaska.
I think seeing kids playing at 11 was a real shock.
