Know any beatnik jokes?

Poetry thing coming up and I could use a few.

I only know one--

Cool Pappa walks into coffee shop and asks "How's the pecan pie?"

Beat girl behind the counter sez: "The pecan pie's gone."

Cool Pappa sez: "Dig it. I'll take two pieces."

1. Beatnik #1: Hey, man, turn on the radio.

Beatnik #2: I love you, radio!

2. Snapping of fingers in detached,

laconic manner.

3. Two beatniks are walking down the street...

when the rope breaks on a safe that was being hoisted up the side of the building.

The safe comes crashing down, smashing onto the sidewalk just behind the two.

Beatnik #1 jumps and says, "What was that?"

Beatnik #2 quickly replies, "B-flat man," while never missing a beat with his snapping his fingers.

5. I collar your jive, Jack

But you're coming up on the wrong riff. You dig?

6. Ain't no jive, cat. Dig this stone pocket pad I was rolling in last nite

7. Ow! Looks like a gas!

Ok, man, you got your boots on. Didn't mean to bring you down. Everything's kopasetic.

Interesting variant spelling of "reefer"! (Top line).
