Help! I've got blasterworm and another virus too (re???x)?
Norton Antivirus found it and said it can't access the file or repair anything. Suggestions for current software to get rid of this?
When our other computer crashed in February or so of this year, we bought an anti-virus program online that our cable company person recommended....it may be as great as he says....if you are a techie and know what you are doing. I'm not sure when/if to run that thing and when I do, it asks ME if I want to isolate the file, erase the files, or do nothing...hell, how should I know? I thought the programs would know that!

Please help!

1. If you can get online, go to www.symantec.com
They have a blaster worm removal tool you can download. The exact download url is: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html

2. I had blasterworm, too
But vermicidal drugs and laxatives cured that. Quickly.
Ohhhh, you mean software.

3. spywareBlaster
this program is a must have ... can't guarantee it will fix your specific virus but you should install it anyway ...

when you install it, turn on all protections ... i was having all sorts of problems until i installed it ... now, no problems at all ...

and it's a freebee ...

here's a link where you can download it:

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

you might also consider installing adAware ...
