I thought of him, too, but went to Beatty.

I was envisioning the film as a complex drama, so I went with I thought were the best actors. Wendt is good; Beatty is great.



Karl Rove from the Hooover Institute (Stanford University); George Wendt from the BBC; Ned Beatty in the film Spring Forward from Reel.com.

Jim Carrey, at his best, has uncanny way of presenting a superficially innocent character who has more complex characteristics under the surface (The Truman Show, the Riddler in one of the Batman films), so he seemed to be the best actor to play Bush.
