As a sociopath I found F911 to be an OK movie
Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 04:05 PM by HereSince1628
But I didn't realize I was a sociopath until today. Everyone loves it but me. So, there is certainly something wrong with me. While I think making it was a kick and a challenge to Bush and the whole crummy system, as someone who likes books and rhetoric with not much feeling for being "POP" it didn't work so well for me.

Instead of being angry or re-invigorated like all those around me, I was just very very sad. Sad for a pick-up truck loaded with dead Iraqi children, sad for Al Gore hammering down those trying to speak for the stolen votes that might have actually elected him, sad enough to quietly cry at seeing the radius and ulna of a still attached arm of a conscious person.

Nope, it didn't make me want to be part of ANY political system. It just made me very very sad ... and left me thinking maybe it was too bad an ancient shrewlike wee beasty survived the KT extinction.

3. Go see it, it is very moving
Take an independent or open-minded righty.

It is very moving, a really well done film.

5. I understand completely

I actually watched the movie twice yesterday. I went by myself yesterday at noon and my husband wanted to see it so we went together that evening.

The first time I saw it, it made me numb. My first reaction was that I had to find a way to get me and my family out of the country. I didn't want to be a part of a system that was capable of blowing up children, ignoring its Veterans, and being so easily minipulated by a group of people who's only interest seems to be adding to their already over inflated bank accounts. I wanted to wash my hands of everything and walk away.

The second time seeing the movie was more bearable. The saddness is still there but the anger has come back again so I'm willing to fight this crap. All I know now is that I need to do my part in getting Bush out of office because if he's given another 4 years, then I will go back to feeling numb.
