Nice bull, though. :-)

on edit: had to chage from "steer" to "bull". Didn't look close enough the first time. :D

12. Much better
There was a cow in Ireland who seemed to be posing for us--she waited patiently, then moved after Hubby lowered the camera.

10. It's Bevo!
Or 13-0 as we aggies like to call it!

P.S. I'm not a real aggie, although I did get two degrees there. I was what the aggies call a 2 percenter. I married a UT grad and root for the horns. Life is strange. Go figure.

13. I didn't think you seemed like an Aggie
No offense to Aggies. Though I only know of one on the board. Odd that this board doesn't attract more

14. Well, lb, there's aggies and then there's aggies.
I did go to school there (Masters and PhD), and career-wise I'm glad I did. My wife worked at the local newspaper there while I was a poor, struggling student and came home with horror stories about 2 hour murder trials (defendant: black) and other stuff I don't want to remember.

But the "good" aggies were called "2 percenters", and that was what I was. We were the 2% that just went to school there and never got caught up in the rah-rah bullshit. I just got my degrees, stayed out of the politics of it, and moved on. But I do have some stories to tell. When you get around to your visit to New Mexico, I'll bend your ear!

Nice to hear from you, btw! I'm pretty much out of vacation mode and hope to be around DU much more, at least until August 15th, when my sabbatical starts. No telling where I'll be then, but probably somehwere fighting road rage.
