Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.

1. There is no pain
You are receding,
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon,
You are only coming through in waves,
You lips move but I can't hear what you say.

2. so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

3. Is this the theme song for the "Coalition of the Wild-Eyed"?
If it is, I am so honored.
Really.

6. Hello,
Is there anybody in there,
Just nod if you can hear me,
Is there anyone at home,
Come on down,
I know you're feeling down,
I can ewase the pain,
Get you on your feet again,

Relax,
Just some information first,
Just the basic facts,
Can you show me where it hurts?

5. If he was any more Walleyed...
You would fish for him on the 20' to 30' dropoff with a spinner rig, baited with a leech.

Jack Elam isn't dead. He's our AG.

7. Walleyes are for the faint of heart,
Muskie for a trophy,
Small-mouthed bass for the pan.

Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 09:47 PM by rocknation
I got the Asscroft pic from this DU post...

I suggested to Symbolman that the pics could be the subject of the next Take Back The Media animation...

And now Matcom has come up with the perfect soundtrack!

11. Paranoid Eyes
Button your lip and don't let the shield slip
Take a fresh grip on your bullet proof mask
And if they try to break down your disguise with their questions
You can hide hide hide
Behind paranoid eyes

You put on your brave face and slip over the road for a jar
Fixing your grin as you casually lean on the bar
Laughing too loud at the rest of the world
With the boys in the crowd
You can hide hide hide
Behind petrified eyes

You believed in their stories of fame fortune and glory
Now you're lost in a haze of alcohol soft middle-age
The pie in the sky turned out to be miles too high
And you hide hide hide
Behind brown and mild eyes
