More cell phone questions...GAIT vs. GSM
It seems like Cingular (our current provider) has the sort of plan we want. Based on looking at the maps alone, the GAIT coverage (a phone that can handle a number of systems) kicks the ass of the current GSM coverage. However, if my research and instinct tells me anything, it's this:

The GAIT coverage map LOOKS good. However, if we go out of the Cingular coverage area as indicated on the GSM map, we will still incur the dreaded roaming charges, which is why we're changing our current plan in the first place.

Am I right, or completely off?

1. I Believe You're Right
I can't see your carrier pass up a chance to make money off your calling plan and especially with roaming charges.
