I love Robert Evans, and I think he's still incredibly sexy.

Do I need help?

Just finished watching "The Kid Stays in the Picture." I doubt a cooler character ever roamed Hollywood.

Great film... has anyone else seen it, or read Evans' book?

2. Ali was so stunning.
I never thought much of her as an actress, but what an intensely beautiful woman she is.

Of course, she broke Evans' heart when she left him for Steve McQueen while filming "The Getaway."

I just love old-school Hollywood. :D

4. Well, yeh. He had a hard-on for Kissinger.
He was always trying to get Kissinger to hang out with him in the movie. :D

Of course, all politics aside, I just find him to be one of the last relics of old-school Hollywood, and he's super-fun to watch because of it. I dig the old cat, personally. :D

5. I really really enjoyed the book...
Evans may be a narcissistic cad, but he is a very entertaining narcissistic cad!
Years ago, I wanted to be Bob Evans. Not the Bob Evans of Godfather and Love Story triumphs, but the twilight years Evans- dissipated, idly rich, tragic, and ridiculous. Strange? I know...

The film was all right, but I wanted to smack the director after watching his bonus feature interview. What a pretentious twit!

6. Strange? Yes, I do know.
There's something coolly tragic about Evans in his '80s period. On his worst days, he still held up better than most of today's Hollywood trash on their best. Hell, he sprang himself out, just after he committed himself. Bet Matthew Perry wouldn't even have the balls.

He's entertaining as hell. The epitome of roguish cool. But again, I'm pretty strange when it comes to my interest in old Hollywood.

I watched the film on cable... didn't it have two directors? What gives with the bonus interview?
