I've seen him up close and personal-like and it freaked me out.

And if he's going to call Michael Moore "fat" looks like his own appearance is fair game.

1. Someone Here Mentioned He's Of Arabic Heratige
My best friend in High School was part Lebenase and had to shave twice a day.

Like the DUer said, I'd make a poor bigot.

However, I'm not against taking up a collection to buy Nader a Corvair to make a point "where the sun don't shine."

4. Ever seen Robin Williams?
He has someone do an all-over body shave whenever he is due for a movie premiere appearance.

10. My Wife...
Edited on Sun Jun-27-04 11:21 PM by CEDEVLvg
...shaves my back twice per month, and I use a Norelco to shave my neck three times per week. The shaver I use has been overhauled four or five times. They know me on a first name basis at the Remington store.

It has to do with testosterone levels. We can't help it and it's not pleasant. I break out every year when the hot weather comes, and itch like crazy in places where it isn't polite to scratch. Occasionally they get in-grown and I don't even want get into that.

Hairy guys are generally very healthy but also quite prone to things like prostate cancer in old age. It's in my family and all the boys have to be monitored very closely.

I'm of German/Welsh/French heritage...not a drop of anything else we know of. Maybe it's the Welsh coming out. They say Richard Burton looked like Chewbacca without a shirt on.

11. My husband is half-German
and is the hairiest thing alive. I have to shave his back, neck, shoulders, etc with an electric razor if he is going to be seen in public shirtless. It's a funny family tradition. Our daughter and I laugh (good-naturedly) at the "Shaving Daddy" tradition. He gets hairier as he gets older, but I always like to say the furry ones keep you warmer at night!!!

12. Hmmm, must be a German thing, then
My husband is a good part German, too, and he is also very hairy. It is all very sandy, and blends in with his constant tan, so to me he just looks fuzzy. He just keeps growing more and more... I could not bear to make him shave though, I can't imagine how much it would itch when it grew back!! I have gotten used to it as it has grown in over the years, it must be from testosterone levels as he is rather studly! ;) I think I will tell him that one.

18. I Suspect...
...that yeah, it's all that Germanic blood and also hormones. I would NEVER cheat on my wife but I always look around when we're out. I can't help it, and she understands that I'd never cheat or leave her. No one else would put up with me.

Apart from the fact he looks DEAD, I guess commenting on live people may be therapeutic.

13. AN APOLOGY TO EVERYONE
I supported Nader in 2000, and voted for him. I even paid to see him speak at Vanderbilt after the elections.

I am now ashamed and I ask for your forgiveness. I promise it will never happen again.

16. Nader is full of sour grapes but I am seriously worried about...
...Michael Moore. He's a hero and a true national treasure, and I don't want to wake up one morning and read that he's died of a heart attack. I guess we can only hope that he'll devote some attention to his health, very soon.
