Who CARES? Is Michael Moore not allowed to hate America? There are times when I hate America (although I'm not famous and thus no one cares if I hate America). Where is it written you have to love a country just because you happened to be born there anyway? That's is so utterly ridiculous and I'll NEVER understand it...:eyes:

I actually really apprecaite your comment. To be honest, I'm sick of the whole thing too. I will say that I *desperately* WANT to love my country, I don't always do so, and I refuse to do so if the country is doing wicked things. I praise it for the good that it does and has done, and I condemn it for the bad. Where I am any given day on the Love-Hate meter depends on what's going on.

Needless to say I haven't been very proud to be an American at any point I can think of since President Carter won the Nobel Prize. Now that should have been a national holiday.

THe top one is from the "March for Choice on April 25th in Washington DC. The bottom one was at the Anti-War rally on October 26th, 2002, the freepers held their own rally and that is all that attended. The hoot was C-Span televised that lark!
