Uh-Oh just got a F911 movie review/crowd reaction from RICHMOND Va.
Fellow DU'er Demman (sorry for dropping names) just got talked to a fellow employer (she mentioned FARK) who by the looks of her would easily be described as "hippie-ish". Very nice even tempered lady from my experience. She went to see F911 at a theatre that tends to run Independent films (Super Size me was there last week) and she said:

.
.
.
.
.
THE PLACE WAS GOING NUTS!!!

Aside from the crying-there was outright cheering and applause. The place was PACKED, people were buying 10 tickets at a time for other show times for friends (a co-worker of my wife just confirmed that he saw the same thing). Outside W's actual resume was being handed out and she said she walked out totally fired up and everyone was talking a mile a minute. I'll bet that theatre owner is doing business like he/she hasn't seen in years.

2. Terminal was good, too
But I managed to fit both in on one weekend! :-)

No matter. So the film will have big numbers next week, too.

3. I was there..
I went on saturday and the movie rocked and there were the standing ovations and the resumes for georgey. I walked out of the theatre after the 5 to 6 minute ovation and was watching a older women sitting next to the bathrooms who looked totally devastated. When I got outside my mom asked me what I thought, I said in a typical puffed up Andrew Jackson fashion that "I feel like burning George Bush in the street" There was a freeper sitting at the restaurant next to the theatre who rolled her eyes when she heard me say this.
I felt like giving her a ripping too, but decided she wasn't worth the effort.

4. Welcome to DU
:hi:

Our "reviewer" was at the 1:30 show. Sounds like you had the same perception.

I am going at lunch tomorrow to get tickets.

6. Hi there, does anybody agree...
with my thought that this thing with MM's movie is sort of a back door revolt from the media against Bush's threats and intimidation?
