Who saw Rubin "Hurricane" Carter slam the Patriot Act.
It was on Friday Night Fights on ESPN2. Rubin was the guest host and, after a fantastic Cruiserweight bout, they went to the studio where the host asked Rubin about sparring with "Sonny" Liston and the political climate of the time. Rubin spoke about treatment of blacks in the late fifties, then likened it to the current erosion of rights in the US today. He did not mention the Patriot act by name, but you could tell what he was about.

That is what I saw. Did anyone else see the same thing?

I know whom I want to send after Ayatollah Ashcroft.

Get 'em Rubin.

1. The Times They Are A-Changing
When we've got people making political statements on Boxing programs and at NASCAR races, you know the paradigm is shifting!
