Strangest cat behavior I've seen in a while. . .
Quinn is a VERY curious cat, and usually just likes to rough house and sprint all around the apartment. Today, when I was soaking in an extremely hot bath (as I often do on a day when I've been on my feet alot), he came and sat on the edge of the tub (not unusual for him). Rather than just sit there and look at the water like usual, he proceeded to turn 90 degrees, and dunk his entire tail in the water and just leave it there, he then laid down on the edge of the tub with his tail in the water until I got up, then he ran off swinging his tail around and getting water all over the place.

He's weird I tell ya'.

1. He's a cat...There is never any explanation for their behavior.
Remember that, and nothing he does will ever freak you out.

2. You wanna talk about WEIRD??????
Our cat insists on drying knees; when we step out and beging to towel off, he methodically licks each knee dry.

4. my cat screams at me when I'm in the shower
she gets on the edge of the tub between the shower curtain and the curtain liner and pokes her head in and screams. Truly- you know- like that meow that you only hear when something is really wrong. Like I'm killing myself and she's trying to get me to stop.

Last week she actually slipped and fell in.

She was back screaming the next morning.

I love her!!!:loveya:

5. Our late kitty Sweetie used to lie on his back under the dripping
faucet and let it drip on his belly while he slept. Odd creatures these little ones are. :hi:

6. how cool. Maybe if you encourage him he will eventually learn to
bathe with you. That would be worth seeing! Videotape it if it ever happens!

7. Mine likes to tip over glasses
You can't leave a glass of anything unattended, even for a second. He doesn't drink it. He just likes to watch it spill.

When I was little I had a cat who loved to sleep in the bathroom sink. It was just the right size and shape, and she fit in perfectly. I think she liked the smooth feel of the porcelain. She also liked to sleep in the middle of the road on a sunny day. Luckily we didn't live on a busy road, and she was never hit. I'd seen cars slow down and drive around her, and she didn't even flinch.

9. Ours has been in the shower with my wife
and I still can not figure out how she did it. She was wet from the neck down, her head was completely dry(I am talking about the cat.)

I also had a Siamese tomcat that would go swimming with us, and when he got tired we put him on a float and he would just lay there.
