Just started watching the movie 1984

Is it any good? Does it do justice to the book? I don't want to stay up if it isn't worth it.

2. I thought the John Hurt version was good...

I think there might be another version floating around, but I know the John Hurt version. I liked it... obviously it can't go into quite the depth of the book, but I think it conveys a lot of the paranoia and mood and the basics of the story. Worth staying up...
