I haven't smoked the stuff in years, but I'm curious.

I can't imagine paying that much. Probably a good thing I quit back in the day.

several hundred $ per oz it would have to get me toasted for a couple hours on just one good hit. Stuff like that used to be very rare.

I saw your post so I called up some folks around here and asked. The most people around here are willing to pay is 200 an ounce.

7. I obtain it 1/4 lb. at a time for $525...

and I smoke on average 1/4lb. per month.(just me, the wife doesn't party)

however-
those who obtain smaller quantities at the same source pay $170/oz. or $60/quarter ounce

and it's always GOOD weed.

btw- I don't drink ANY alcohol(no, i'm not a "friend of bill - i just never liked it), I don't smoke or use tobacco in any form, and I NEVER drink coffee.

Don't tell me you smoke an ounce a week to your head. that's a fat eighth(4 grams) a day.

and yes it's all me, since most of my friends don't really party either. If I lived in Cali, I'd be able to get a 'prescription'...the guy who started the Orange County Canabis club has the same painful affliction as me.

I also take 70mgs/day of methadone for chronic pain, along with 5 or 6 flexerils (muscle relaxers), and up to 1200mg of ibuprofen.

the meds i take are one of the main reasons i've had to cut out alcohol completely- which wasn't all that difficult for me...

but as far as tolerance goes- all my meds(including the pot) pretty much allow me to function as normally as i can- without the meds, just about any movement is painful.

if you met me on the street, you'd never be able to tell that i've just done a half-dozen bong hits of hydro.

I assumed you meant kind, indoor-grown bud, so I answered $400.

An ounce of commercial, outdoor-grown weed (compressed into a brick and shipped here from out of state) is $100.

19. My friend in Amsterdam

Takes care of me and I live in the Midwest.

I buy from him because I do not trust anyone locally and I make sure that no one but my closest friends knows about my indulgence.

1/4 of hydro "white widow" is about 90.00
1/2 of the same is 160.00

He also sends me hashish that will knock you to the floor if you do too much.

It comes in the mail and looks like a normal business letter.

He has a machine that compresses it flat as a pancake.

It's safe and it's clean and I know what's in it.

Will we ever see it legal in this country?
