Or as a friend puts it, my 15 seconds. I was quoted in the Daily Disappointment yesterday (Wichita Eagle) because I was interviewed as I left F9/11 after my second viewing. I listened as the interviewer listened to a lot of crap from a Republican ostrich, then told him my reasons for attending a second time: to verify the falsity of a statement I'd heard on Scarborough Country that Moore was mocking the troops. Of course, that was a lie. I also commented that I was glad Moore was countering right-wing lies and that I was tired of Liberals just rolling over. The last part was quoted in the paper.
It's interesting that all the Freeper types rattle and babble on about "balance," but the interviewer spoke with a representative of probably less than 20% (estimate) of the audience and gave the same amount of weight to that viewpoint as to mine, and I was in the 80% that liked the movie and agreed with Moore's ideas. Echoes the common complaint that the movie is unbalanced, but 1) Moore never claimed it was balanced--it's an opinion piece, and 2) Faux News and MSNBC are never balanced, much as they try to tell us they are.
Anyway, who wants an autograph?:eyes:
