VACATION! This time tomorrow I'm on a plane to Amsterdam

After a cool 8hr. layover, I will be back in the gold old U.S. of A. before the 4th.

Then it will be home (Florida) and my wife's family in Tulsa. We head back in August and spend a week visiting friends in Switzerland and spending a little time in Germany.

Then it's back to the horrors of Dubai (yeah right!)

Did I mention it will be COOL there... REALLY COOL... as in not 110-125 (our regular daily temperature here). I am looking forward to shivering @ 60 degrees :)

The good news is our University has a contract with KLM. So, this will be a yearly thing from here on out.

3. amsterdam is wonderful

one of the few places left in the world where sanity reigns supreme. Unless youve been abroad before, youll notice immediately how backward, provincial and downright stupid, ignorant and quase illiterate the majority of the population here is.
