After I got to know them somewhat, invariably the topic of their last name came up...All they did was put their little sophisticated ears on, held their heads up high and after three glasses of wine laughed hysterically, telling me they were in the process of adding an "L" between the FU...we laughed again. But, I said, a fluke is a parasite..

Mr. Fukes had been tormented terribly when he attended school and seeing Mrs. Fukes was with child he lamented pitifully, he didn't want the child to suffer as he did... I suggested going with Smith or Wesson, if change was in the air.

a guy sent me once, of a Chinese sushi bar named "Fuk Mi."

I could imagine how they answered the phone there...."Fuck me, can I help you??"

Speaking of which, once, when I worked for Dun & Bradstreet, and had to call businesses to gather various data...the guy to talk to, at the time, at Benihana's of Tokyo, was a guy named Long Proung...and he pronounced it "Long Prong."

There used to be a store in Garden City, KS (which has a large community of Vietnamese immigrants) called "Phouc Dat".

I used to chuckle about it and finally asked a Vietnamese guy I worked with what it meant and his laughing reply was "Somebody got sense of humor... that not vietnamese!" :D

9. Many Moons Ago...

when this 33 year old was just a kid, my dad did business with a guy named Fred Fuchs...and he pronounced it "Fucks." I still remember this, because I thought it was funny.
Especially seeing as how, when this man would come over for a dinner invite...I had to refer to him as "Mr. Fucks" yet, if I'd said the F-Bomb any other time, I'd've gotten my mouth washed out with soap!!

6. It happens during baseball games all the time

Sometimes you can hear the player yell it and sometimes you can just see that that's what they're saying. The announcers never say anything about it but kids and all ages of folks watch baseball games on TV and most of them are on a Fox regional sports net channel. How many of them do you think will ever get fined? I personally don't give a shit what they say and I'm a huge baseball fan and I have a filthy mouth :) But the hypocrisy just pisses me off to no end.
