Sars concert
Has anybody heard who the bands will be at the SARS benefit in Toronto? I heard about The Stones and Rush and that's all I can learn. Thanks

1. SARS Concert... eh...

Avril Lavigne, Sum 41 and Sarah McLachlan lead the group of Canadian artists who will come together June 21st for the Concert for Toronto, a two-venue, one-day event to help boost the SARS-stricken city's struggling economy.
Lavigne, Sum, Barenaked Ladies, Our Lady Peace, the Tragically Hip and Swollen Members will play at the Toronto's SkyDome. A few blocks away, the Air Canada Center will host McLachlan, Remy Shand, Glenn Lewis and other artists to be announced.

I like the concept... but when it's called a "SARS concert" it sounds like something I would really want to avoid.

3. There is NO SARS IN TORONTO......Sars was never loose in the city....
All cases were hospital cases....It's called "Sars Concert" because it's to benefit the city's tourism industry which suffered because of the Sars scare....

4. Stones, Rush, AC/DC are the big names
Also 60's band The Guess Who will be there. And that talentless piece of crap Justin Timberlake, for some odd reason.

But to see the Stones, AC/DC, and Rush on the same bill, for a ticket price under $20 American, I think I could put up with N'Suck boy being on the bill. Provides a great opportunity to visit the beer garden, right??

But since the show IS in Toronto, I doubt I'll make it :-(

Why couldn't they have another benefit in Vancouver?
