1. Instead, find out how to vote by mail
And tell everybody you know.

4. Risky
It's often easier to disallow an absentee vote than anything else.

You sound an awful lot like some Republicans after the Florida fiasco.

You DO know that quite a few absentee ballots were STILL puch cards, right?

And you don't always know WHY your ballot might be disallowed. Some of the FL2000 absentee ballots were disallowed for failing to have a signature even though it was the COUNTY (IIRC) that forgot to PUT a signature line ON the ballot.

2. Perhaps you could (have) vote(ed) in the primaries?
It would likely be the same system.

3. It was Electronic
I filled out a card, and place it into a feeder.

6. That's probably not "electronic".
Almost every precinct is going to COUNT the votes with some sort of equipment (we're using punch cards, and THEY get fed into a "feeder" or "reader" that tallies them).

Did you punch holes? Did you fill in circles like a scantron? Complete a broken arrow?

Some of the most reliable (and hardest to forge) methods fit your description.

7. Thank God Man
I just can't wait to vote people, and I really hate the idea of having to mail my vote in. These people are seriously dangerous to our democracy. Once Kerry is elected we have to make sure we get the House and Senate to reverse the damage already done.
